De’Andre Carter has been named Greenville Middle School Principal. De’Andre Carter has been named Greenville Middle School Principal.

Mr. Carter began his educational career teaching seventh grade mathematics at the middle school he attended. He was a coach for football, track and field and academic UIL.

After receiving his master's degree, he served as a middle school administrator before coming to Greenville ISD. In GISD, he served as an assistant principal for GHS before becoming the chancellor of the Greenville ISD Early College High School. He is currently attending Dallas Baptist University as a doctoral student in their Ed. D. K-12 program. Mr. Carter is married to an educator and is the father of three beautiful daughters.

"Words cannot express how excited I am about this opportunity.” Mr. Carter said. “I am excited to be going back to my roots, the middle school level. I cannot wait to serve our students and community in this new role. Middle school is the beginning of dreams turning into goals and guiding GMS students is both a privilege and an honor.”
