Bryson Mapps doesn't know how to quit -- and it's a good thing! Grit, determination and teamwork were the forces that came together to make Bryson the newest graduate of the Class of 2022.
Friends, families and the many faculty members who rallied around Bryson cheered him on as he accepted his diploma on stage in the auditorium.
"This is one of the most important celebrations we have had all year," GHS Principal Dr. Brant Perry said. "Bryson inspired us all by sticking with it this summer, working on projects and studying like crazy to pass exams. He's got a gift for reaching out to the right people and getting them to help. We had people picking him up and bringing him to school, people helping him with his projects and his exam prep, and just letting him know we were pulling for him and we would get him across that finish line, no matter what."
