Look at Them Now - Chase, Travis and Brooke Potter

This week, our Look at Them Now series features Chase, Travis and Brooke Potter.

Chase Potter

Chase is a proud member of the GISD Class of 2004, which included his wife Lydia (who graduated sixth in their class...two spots ahead of Chase.) After graduating from GISD, Chase earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce and his law degree from Southern Methodist University. Chase is a trial lawyer who began his career at the international law firm of Clark Hill, PLC (f/k/a Strasburger & Price, LLP), which is one of the largest firms in the world. Chase is now a partner at Rogge Dunn Group in Dallas - one of the most respected boutique litigation firms in the country. Chase regularly handles high profile lawsuits with millions of dollars at issue. Earlier this year, Chase was lead counsel in a two-week trial in Fort Worth, which involved a contentious partnership dispute, wherein Chase and his team secured a verdict in favor of their clients in excess of $3.1 million dollars. Chase is thankful for the high-quality education he received at GISD. The many GISD educators who invested in Chase provided him the foundation necessary to be successful in the highly competitive legal industry.

Travis Potter

Travis graduated from Greenville ISD in 2007 alongside his now wife, Andrea, is now a Speech Language Pathologist. Following graduation, Travis earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce and then pursued a Master's in Healthcare Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. Travis has been fortunate to spend the majority of his career serving his hometown community by working at Hunt Regional Healthcare. He began his career at Hunt Regional while finishing up his undergrad degree by landing an internship in the Human Resources Department. Over time, Travis has served in multiple roles within Hunt Regional, leading to his current role as Vice President of Business Development. Travis focuses most of his efforts towards developing a positive patient experience at Hunt Regional and exploring new opportunities to provide high-quality care to community members in Hunt County and surrounding areas. Throughout his time at GISD, an impression of a strong community-driven background was evident through supportive educators, coaches and classmates. His GISD experience is what ultimately led Travis to pursue a career that allows him the opportunity to serve the community he loves.

Brooke Lopez (Potter)

Brooke is a 2010 Greenville ISD graduate. Her teachers at Bowie Elementary sparked her passion for education. She, too, wanted to impact children's lives, just as her teachers did. Brooke attended Texas A&M University-Commerce and received her degree and teacher certification in math grades 4-8 in just three years due to college credits offered during her time at Greenville High School. Brooke is currently in her 10th year of education, in which she has been a math classroom teacher as well as an instructional coach, serving in Quinlan ISD, Richardson ISD, and Rockwall ISD. Brooke's career has been rewarding in achieving student growth goals and receiving accolades such as Staff Member of the Year at Richardson ISD and Teacher of the Year Nominee at Rockwall ISD. Her career in education is thriving, in large part, thanks to where she began her educational journey as a Greenville Lion.
