Senior 2023 Spotlight: Natalie Alvarez

Natalie Alvarez

Natalie Alvarez started GISD as a 3-year-old at L.P. Waters. She was also a proud Carver Cool Cat during her elementary school years. As a student at Greenville High School, Natalie enjoys learning about the past in her history classes and cooking in food science. Outside of the classroom, her interests include playing soccer and participating in Peer Assistance & Leadership (PALS) and National Honor Society. Natalie also enjoys shopping, making money when she can and eating pupusas, a popular Salvadorian dish.

Her favorite memories as a student in GISD were the bus rides with the GHS girls' soccer team and freezing in the cold during their games.

Natalie shared her favorite Bible verse. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

After graduation, she plans to become a flight attendant or get her associate's degree in paralegal studies.

This Senior Spotlight is brought to you compliments of the GHS Counseling Department.

Thank you, counselors, for sharing the amazing stories about our students and their plans for the future.
