James Robles has been a student in Greenville ISD for 13 years, and he was a proud Lamar Rockstar during his elementary years. His favorite class as a student at Greenville High School is the hands-on auto mechanics class. Outside of academics, James played on the offensive line for the Greenville Lions from 7th grade – 11th grade, competed in Powerlifting and participated in auto mechanics. In his spare time, he enjoys working on cars, spending time with friends and family, eating Chicken Express and attending Kavanaugh youth group activities. James also enjoyed serving communities alongside his youth group during several mission trips from south Texas all the way to South Dakota.
His favorite memory as a student in GISD is running through the blow-up tunnel for the first time on the varsity football team and making second team All-District during his junior year. James is still undecided about a career path but is leaning towards attending Texas State Technical College (TSTC) in Waco and pursue a career as a diesel mechanic.
