Baseball and softball players will be practicing their batting skills in updated batting cages, thanks to a generous donation that was accepted by the GISD School Board at its January meeting.

The $20,000 donation was from several citizens, including Juan Martinez and Terry Driggers, who represented the group at the meeting.
