Joel Vargas has been a student in Greenville ISD for 14 years. He was a Carver Cool Cat during his elementary years. Joel loves math and science, and also enjoys writing complex essays. He is a member of the Lion Pride Band drumline and GHS soccer team. In his spare time, he volunteers at church and plays the drums in his church youth band. He loves to play soccer, play Rocket League with his friends and eat enchiladas and pozole. 

Joel has a favorite saying, “Learn to lead your own life before you can lead others.” After graduation, he plans to attend Texas A&M Commerce and major in computer and information sciences.
