Evie Hix has been a student at Greenville High School for the past four years. She attended Lamar Elementary in kindergarten and first grade and then spent some time being homeschooled. She started back as a student at GHS for her freshman year and her favorite class has been US History with Mr. Felder. Evie is a member of the GHS tennis team, National Honor Society and participates in the Culinary Arts program.

In her spare time, Evie is very involved with youth group activities at her church, Crosspoint Fellowship. She loves doing community service with her family, especially Meals on Wheels. She enjoys reading, watching movies, baking and making videos with her sister. Her favorite food is a patty melt and Dr. Pepper from Whataburger.

Evie shared her favorite bible verse, Exodus 14:14, “The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”

After graduation, she plans to attend Texas A&M Commerce, where she has been accepted into the Honors College. She is interested in Equine studies and visual communications programs.
