Tuesday afternoon was full of applause and recognition as GISD hosted the 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 & 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 for staff. Retirees of the 2022-2023 school year were honored for their years of dedication to student’s success and were presented with a clock to thank them for their hard work and encouraged them to enjoy every “minute” of retirement.
Additionally, staff of Greenville ISD received service awards recognizing them for 𝟱, 𝟭𝟬, 𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟱, 𝟯𝟬, 𝟯𝟱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝟰𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲. A total of 905 service years were represented during the ceremony.
Thank you for creating nurturing environments where students can 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄, 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 their passions. Even if your role in GISD doesn’t happen inside a classroom, we are all “𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀”.
