GISD Partners with All Pro Dad

Draft Day is for recruiting the Pros. And that’s what we are doing!

GISD is excited to announce a partnership with All Pro Dad and, to begin, we are calling all fathers and father figures in our student's lives. This opportunity allows us to create stronger bonds within our community and nurture the vital connections between fathers/father figures and their children.

So, who and what is All Pro Dad? Family First, a nationally acclaimed nonprofit, brought the program to life. Their mission is straightforward but oh-so-mighty: inspire and empower every dad out there to roll up their sleeves and play an active role in their children's lives. All Pro Dad was born thanks to the vision of Mark Merrill and the legendary former head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Indianapolis Colts, Tony Dungy.

Mark your calendars with a big, bold circle because you won't want to miss our first-ever "Annual Volunteer Draft."

What: Creating stronger bonds between campuses, fathers/father figures and students

When: Wednesday, September 27th, at 6:00 PM

Where: T.A. Cotton Ford Football Stadium.

Enjoy delicious hamburgers and hot dogs, all while getting to know our hardworking staff and the passionate father co-captains representing all ten chapters (campuses). And there's more—a special address from a well-known Greenville dad, Matthew Middleton, who will shine a light on the incredible impact fathers can have on our tight-knit community.

But the excitement doesn't end there! Each month, your child's campus will have monthly activities to celebrate fathers/father figures in our community. Essential themes will be represented each month, like respect, communication, peace, confidence, love, resilience, and forgiveness—building connections and crafting memories that'll last a lifetime.

So, please plan to join us as we create a shared bond that will enrich our lives and fortify our community. Together, we're crafting legacies that will stand the test of time.
