The GISD Leadership Class, launched in January 2023, concluded with a memorable event that showcased the district's commitment to education and collaboration. Over the past nine months, dedicated community members committed to one lunch a month to gain a deeper understanding of GISD's operations.

This special event featured a lunch prepared and served by Greenville High School Culinary students. Attendees also heard from GHS students who shared how GISD prepares them to achieve their ambitions and future plans.

Certificates and commemorative shirts were presented by Board President Aletha Kruse and Superintendent Sharon Boothe, who thanked the class for their dedication and commitment.

Our GISD community extends heartfelt gratitude to these individuals for their active engagement and continued support.

"We are grateful for the GISD Leadership Class 2023 members commitment to attend and learn, their continued support of GISD and our students and for being by our side as we move forward together in their pursuit of a deeper understanding of our district," said Superintendent Sharon Boothe. "Their dedication is truly inspiring."
