Greenville ISD hosted its inaugural All Pro Dad Draft Day
Greenville ISD transformed into a hub of excitement last night as it hosted its inaugural “𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁 𝗗𝗮𝘆”. With dads, school staff, and the community coming together across the district's ten chapters (campuses), the event was nothing short of inspiring, uplifting and compelling.
The event kicked-off with Board Trustee Roger Livingston setting the stage, citing how programs just like these are helping the district, its students, families and community move 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗧𝗢𝗚𝗘𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥.
Aside from the thrill of the draft, the highlight of the evening came from a local community member and father, Matthew Middleton who spoke passionately from his heart: "𝗜𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻. All Pro Dads is a remarkable organization dedicated to tackling challenges head-on. By bringing fathers together for meaningful activities with their children and offering valuable resources, All Pro Dad equips fathers to become the role models their children need."
Superintendent and Draft Commissioner, Sharon Boothe began announcing each chapter’s selection as team captains came forward and received their t-shirt. And how do you end a night like this? With hamburgers, smoked sausage and cookies of course.
The All Pro Dad program has ignited a wave of enthusiasm in Greenville ISD, helping build a brighter future for our students. Thank you, fathers, families, and community members for partnering with students to help Greenville ISD move 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.
