Invocation:

• Pastor Slack Brown of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church opened the meeting with prayer.

Recognition:

• GHS juniors Miranda Price and Michael Surface were honored for being selected as Texas All-State Choir members. They performed during the recent Texas Music Educators Association conference in San Antonio.
•  Sixth Grade Center Assistant Principal Jinger Surles was honored as the February Hero of Hope.

Open Forum and Public Comment:

• David Rogers expressed his concerns about PE classes at Greenville High School.  

Superintendent's Report:

• The Superintendent gave a district news update.

• The board approved authorized signers for the district's TD Ameritrade account.

• The board approved an upgrade for GISD's phone system.
