Kadeem Jimmerson

Greenville High School 2013 grad Kadeem Jimmerson is the Reecy Davis Club Director for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas and is an active member in the Greenville community.

The Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Texas is a non-profit youth development agency for youth in grades 1-12. In this role, Kadeem provides Greenville youth with opportunities to try new things and have fun in a physically and emotionally safe environment. The program helps students shape their path toward a great future in which they have academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good character and citizenship. The club also meets the needs of many families by providing after-school and summer activities program for youth ages 6 to 18.

“Kadeem has a huge passion for the Greenville community, specifically Greenville's youth!” Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas Director of Operations Trei Wells said. “He goes above and beyond to ensure they have the support they need and experiences they deserve.”

“Additionally, he continues to be a light for our organization. He is never afraid of a challenge and provides tons of opportunities for his club members that they wouldn't have had otherwise. We are so thankful to have him on our team and making a positive impact on our organization.”

While at Greenville High School, Kadeem played on the basketball team and was known as a sharp dresser. He always had a big smile on his face and was well-respected by his fellow students and campus staff. He was nominated for Homecoming King his senior year and was a co-leader of the school song at graduation.

Congratulations, Kadeem, on being the latest honoree in GISD's Look at Them Now series!
