Thomas "T.J." Goss | Chiropractor | '99 Grad

Dr. Thomas "T.J." Goss

Greenville High School 1999 grad Dr. Thomas “T.J.” Goss is a chiropractor in Greenville and credits his years in GISD for laying the foundation to continue his education after graduation and springboarding him to success.

After graduating from GHS, T.J. received a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Texas A&M Commerce and then a bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University.

During his time at Parker, he was one of six students selected for a three-month internship to work with the Colombian Olympic team. He later returned to Colombia to perform post-graduate work with the professional soccer team La Equidad.

In 2013, T.J. returned to Greenville to start his own practice. He has since been named Hunt County Readers’ Choice Award Best Chiropractic Office in 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2020.

T.J. is active in the Greenville community, serving on the Carevide board and as an Air Force Association community partner.

With graduation nearing, T.J. shared a story about his own senior year and graduation experience.

“Like many soon-to-be grads, I was not immune to ‘senioritis.’ The struggle was real. Graduation could not come soon enough, but apparently they weren’t ready to let me go just yet. During graduation rehearsal, Mrs. Ballew pulled me from the activities to finish a couple of lingering yearbook layouts or else I would not be walking the stage with my classmates. I completed the layouts and met the deadline a little later than expected.

I realize now she did not have to do that, but it demonstrates the dedication the GISD teachers and staff have to ensure success and accomplishment in their students. This is only one of many great teachers I had over the years. I am forever grateful to GISD for providing a place to learn and grow. I’m also married to an educator. My wife Mikayle Goss is the superintendent for Boles ISD.”

Congratulations, T.J., on being the latest honoree in GISD's Look at Them Now series!
