Richard Adams joins Greenville ISD with more than 20 years of experience in education, including service as a teacher, instructional leader, mentor, and coach. Throughout his career, he has focused on improving student outcomes, supporting teachers, and building strong relationships with students, families, and staff.

Most recently, Adams served in leadership roles within Forney ISD, where he conducted instructional observations, supported campus testing operations, coordinated student support initiatives, and helped lead mentoring programs for students. He holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Lamar University and brings a collaborative leadership style centered on student success and positive school culture.

Ayndrea Drain joins Greenville ISD with more than 15 years of educational experience and a background in instructional leadership, student support services, and campus operations. Her career has included leadership roles supporting emergent bilingual students, special education services, campus testing coordination, and teacher development.

Greenville ISD is also a familiar place for Drain, who previously served as Greenville High School’s choir director before continuing her educational leadership journey in other districts. Most recently, she served as LPAC Coordinator at John Horn High School in Mesquite ISD, where she led services for more than 670 emergent bilingual students while supporting campus-wide assessment programs and instructional improvement efforts. She now returns to Greenville with a passion for student achievement, strong family partnerships, and creating opportunities for every student to succeed.

Greenville ISD Superintendent Dr. Joe Lopez said both leaders will be valuable additions to their respective campuses.

β€œMr. Adams and Ms. Drain each bring a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to serving students,” Lopez said. β€œTheir leadership, dedication, and passion for education will be tremendous assets to our campuses, and we are excited to welcome them to the Greenville ISD family.”

Greenville ISD looks forward to the impact both leaders will make as they begin serving students, staff, and families in their new roles.
