Hello, Travis Families!
We are officially one quarter of the way through the school year! We want to share a few important updates for when we return from Fall Break.
Our first nine weeks of testing is complete, and grades are being finalized. As we review our data, we will be regrouping students to better meet their individual learning needs. Please be prepared for possible schedule changes after Fall Break. We are excited to continue learning and growing with your children as we make this a GREAT year to celebrate!
We’re also excited to announce that after-school tutoring will begin soon. Permission slips will be sent home the week of October 20th, along with applications for the Enrichment Dinner Program. All students participating in after-school programs will receive a nutritious meal at no cost.
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held during the second quarter. Please keep an eye out for more information from your child’s teachers.
Save the Date! Ms. Bryant, our Communities in Schools Coordinator, is hosting a fun and educational evening—Travis Academic Night—on October 23rd from 5:30–7:00 PM. We hope to see you there!
Picture Retakes will be held on October 27th.
