Greenville ISD VEX Robotics teams wrapped up a successful season with strong representation at state competitions, showcasing student skill, innovation, and growth across all grade levels.
A total of 10 teams from across the district qualified for and competed at the state level this year, representing fifth grade, sixth grade, middle school, and high school campuses. Each team earned its place through competition, demonstrating problem-solving, teamwork, and technical ability throughout the season.
Students in the VEX Robotics program are responsible for designing, constructing, and programming robots to complete a series of challenges. As students progress through each level, those challenges become more complex, requiring higher levels of precision, strategy, and collaboration.
At the elementary level, Greenville ISD was represented by one fifth grade team, 148C. Two sixth grade teams, 3148A and 3148C, also advanced to state competition, continuing to build a strong foundation in robotics and engineering concepts.

At the middle school level, five teams qualified for state, including 2148G, 2148S, 2148T, 2148X, and 2148Z. These students competed in increasingly advanced challenges, applying both design and programming skills in a competitive setting.

At the high school level, teams 4148B and 4148S represented Greenville ISD at the state level, competing against top programs from across Texas and continuing to build on the districtβs growing robotics presence.

The success of these teams reflects the continued growth of Greenville ISDβs robotics program and the opportunities it provides for students to engage in hands-on, real-world learning. Through competition, students gain experience in engineering, coding, and teamwork while developing skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
As the season comes to a close, Greenville ISD celebrates the dedication and effort of its student competitors and looks ahead to continued growth and success in the years to come.
