Iam very proud and excited to be a part of Crockett Elementary. I believe in education. After graduating from high school, I attended Texas A&M University in College Station where I received a bachelor of science degree in Animal Science and Agriculture Education. I then began my career in education as an agriculture science teacher in Edgewood ISD. While working as an agricultural science teacher, I pursued my master's of science degree at Texas A&M-Commerce where I graduated with a degree in Secondary and Higher Education. I then became an assistant principal at the secondary level in Edgewood ISD and later in Quinlan ISD. After 8 years in secondary, I became an assistant principal in Forney ISD at Johnson Elementary where I spent 5 wonderful years. I then began my journey to obtain my doctorate degree from the University of North Texas. Next, I spent 3 years as the principal at Hallie Randall Elementary in Fruitvale ISD. I am currently working on my dissertation for my doctorate degree in Educational Administration with a minor in Research and Statistics. I have had a total of 16 years in education and have loved every minute.
My husband Randy and I live in Wills Point. My husband is an agriculture science teacher at Edgewood High School. We have two children. Sydney is our 10 year old daughter who is in 5th grade and Reese is our 7 year old son in 2nd grade. We spend a lot of time with our families, and going to livestock shows.
I look forward to working with all the faculty, staff, students, and parents at Crockett Elementary. My vision is that all students will have the opportunity to learn and succeed in life. Together we can make a difference for all of our students. This year will be a great year. If you ever need anything, please call the school, stop by our office, or email me.
