Greenville ISD is proud to announce several administrative updates for the 2026–2027 school year, with new campus leadership assignments. These changes reflect the district’s continued commitment to strong leadership, student success, and building positive campus cultures across Greenville ISD.
Mr. Quinton Jones, who currently serves as principal of Carver Elementary, will transition to serve as principal of Greenville Middle School. With more than 15 years of experience in education, Jones is known for his student-centered leadership, commitment to academic excellence, and strong relationships with students, staff, and families.
Dr. Jeremy Williams, currently assistant principal at L.P. Waters Early Childhood Center, will serve as the next principal of Travis Intermediate School. Williams brings a diverse background in education, including experience as a teacher, facilitator, and campus leader, along with a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership.
Dr. Patrice Whitten, who currently serves as assistant principal at Carver Elementary, will step into the role of principal at Carver Elementary. With nearly two decades of experience in education, Whitten has a strong track record of improving student outcomes and fostering positive, high-performing school environments.
Ms. Krystal Petty, currently assistant principal at L.P. Waters Early Childhood Center, will serve as principal of L.P. Waters Early Childhood Center. Petty has served Greenville ISD for the past 10 years in a variety of roles and brings a deep passion for early childhood education and supporting both students and staff.
Greenville ISD also extends its appreciation to campus leaders who have served in key roles across the district. The district thanks Ms. Melissa Yost, current principal of L.P. Waters Early Childhood Center, Mr. Floyd Webb, current principal of Travis Intermediate School, and Mr. Heath Jarvis, Interim Principal of Greenville Middle School, for their leadership and dedication to students, staff, and the Greenville ISD community.
As Greenville ISD looks ahead to the 2026–2027 school year, the district remains focused on building strong campuses through leadership that supports students, empowers staff, and strengthens the overall school community.
