
Greenville ISD is excited to announce Mr. Stephen Richardson as the next Principal of Lamar Elementary School.
Richardson brings more than 25 years of experience in public education, including more than a decade of service as an elementary principal. Throughout his career, he has focused on building strong school cultures, supporting student achievement, and developing meaningful partnerships with families and staff.
Richardson has served as principal in both Celina ISD and Little Elm ISD where he led efforts focused on instructional improvement and student success.
Richardson said he is excited to join the Lamar Elementary community and looks forward to serving students, staff, and families.
Greenville ISD Superintendent Dr. Joe Lopez said Richardson's experience and student-centered approach make him a strong addition to the district's leadership team.
"Mr. Richardson is an experienced educational leader who understands the importance of relationships, high expectations, and creating opportunities for students to succeed," Lopez said. "We are excited to welcome him to Lamar Elementary and look forward to the impact he will have on the campus."
Greenville ISD would also like to thank Ms. Jennifer Dracos for her leadership and service to Lamar Elementary. The district appreciates her dedication to students, staff, and families and wishes her continued success in her future endeavors.
