Travis Elementary Students in Mrs. Janie Hardie’s class are proud to display their Heroes Bingo Sheets and are looking forward to attending the Heroes Winners Lunches on March 5 & 6.  Students collected Hero Cards at the recent Heroes Night Autograph Party.  The Hero Cards are custom trading cards featuring photos of Greenville Police Officers, Greenville Firefighters, American Medical Response and Air-Evac Lifeteam personnel.  On the back of each card is a drug prevention education fact.   The class in each grade at all of Greenville’s elementary schools with the most “black-out” bingo sheets win a police escorted bus trip to have lunch with the Heroes.  The Hero Card program is sponsored by DrugFree Greenville in partnership with the City of Greenville, Greenville Police and Fire Departments, AMR-Hunt County EMT, Air-Evac, and GISD.
