Bowie School is located at 6005 Stonewall. Bowie serves over 600 students from Kindergarten through 5^th grades, and meets TEA academic standards.  

The professional staff at Bowie is dedicated to seeking out opportunities to improve and further develop instructional methodologies that will create engaging work for students so that each child takes an active role in the learning process. Bowie is now house to Dual Language Academy (DLA); students become bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural. 

In addition to the core academic program, students also enjoy the opportunity to learn how to play stringed instruments such as the violin or cello through the Suzuki Strings program. We also offer our Talented and Gifted students (TAG) opportunities to participate in an instructional enrichment program. Other programs afforded our students include Destination Imagination (D/I), robotics (5^th grade) and UIL academic competition (2^nd – 5^th grades).
