She was a four-year letter winner for the Lions and was named to the Lone Star Conference's First Team All-Conference in 1996, 1997 and 1998 as a goalkeeper.  She still ranks in ten different all-time career categories in the Lion record book including first in saves per game at 5.36.  She is second all-time in saves with 316, and her 32 career wins is third all-time.  Her 6.62 saves per game average still stands as the best single-season mark.

During her sophomore year, she received the Lib Huggins Outstanding Female Athlete award, given to the female athlete from any sport that exemplified excellence in their sport, leadership, and in the classroom. She also received the MVP award her junior and senior years.

Her induction was based on the criteria that “the nominee must be a person of such integrity, character and sportsmanship that the A&M-Commerce family will be inspired by the recognition”, according to the TAMU-C Athletic Association. Her accomplishments on the field and in the classroom are what earned her spot in the TAMU-C Athletic Hall of Fame.
