Calling all Disney fans - and all Lion Pride Band fans and all Flaming Flashes fans!

It's time to celebrate the 90th annual Floor Show Disney style. The show will be at 6:30 p.m. May 3 & 4 @ Greenville High School Gymnasium.

"The floor show has been the biggest entertainment event in the community for years, and this year is no exception," said Flaming Flashes Director Lori Butler. 

The event, which fills the gym every year, features live music from the band, elaborate dance routines performed by the Flashes and welcoming ceremonies for new band members, drum majors, flashes and officers.

"This is a wonderful tradition that brings people back every year," GISD Director of Bands and Secondary Fine Arts Coordinator Joel Weisberg said. "Our Lion Pride Band and Flaming Flashes alumni come back for a giant reunion, and the community turns out in a tremendous show of support. And we never disappoint - it's always one heck of a show."

For the second time this year, there will be a Flaming Flashes Alumni dance where the ladies will perform a line dance.

Solar Car students will have their creation on the floor for visitors to get an up-close look.

Every year, area businesses support the event by purchasing video and print ads. Here are the details:

- $75 for print ad

- $200 for video ad to be played on the big screen during the event (the cost of producing the video ad is included in the fee)

Tickets for the show can be purchased in advance for $5 from any Lion Pride band member or Flaming Flash and will be sold at the door for $7.
