We are so proud of our seniors! Every Wednesday, we will be sharing a picture and brief story about a member of the GHS Class of 2021. 

Ashlynn Vaughan has attended Greenville ISD schools for the past 14 years, where she was a Travis Tornado and Lamar Rockstar during her elementary years.  Ashlynn’s favorite subject in school is science. Her favorite memory as a student in GISD is being a member of the Flaming Flashes, where she served as Colonel during the 2020-21 school year. 

“Flashes became my forever family and brought people into my life that have been a great support system during my high school years.” Ashlynn said. “I love to dance, and it’s at the center of keeping a balance in everyday life to push me through my worries.”   

Community service is important to Ashlynn, and she has been very involved through her church and other organizations like PALS, GHS student council and National Honor Society.  After graduation, Ashlynn plans to attend Wichita State University and major in biology with a pre-medicine pathway in the hopes of one day becoming a physician assistant.
