Community partners make the Learning Connection a reality for GISD students

Billboard

Check out GISD’s new billboard thanking some of our local partners for making the Learning Connection a reality.

This fall, high-speed internet went from being a luxury to being a necessity, as students across the district engaged in virtual learning from home.

Approximately 500 GISD students are using high-speed internet to fully participate in hybrid and online learning from home, thanks to the generosity of several community groups.

A huge thank you goes out to L3Harris Foundation, Tools for School, the City of Greenville and Altrusa International Greenville for their generosity and continued support of GISD students and families!

Check out the Learning Connection story HERE.

The billboard is located on westbound I-30 just past the 1570 exit. It is part of an ongoing pride campaign that is 100% paid for by local business and community advertisers who support GISD and its mission to open the doors to the future for all students.
