Tajia Goynes has been a student in Greenville ISD for 13 years and was a proud Travis Tornado during her elementary school years. Tajia has been a part of the GHS Culinary Arts program during all four years of high school. Her extracurricular interests have been cheerleading, National Honor Society, Peer Assisted Leadership (PALS) and Superintendent Advisory Committee. In her spare time, she enjoys outreach with her church, spending time with family, eating hibachi and going on vacations. 

Tajia’s favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Her favorite memory as a GISD student was cheering at varsity football games and being on campus with her mom all four years of high school.  

Tajia has been accepted to several universities, and she is still considering where she will attend. She plans to major in nursing and become a pediatric nurse.
