Four generations of the Tarpley-Wade family have graduated from GISD! 

Pictured are: Madison Wade (Justin’s wife), Justin Wade (2015), Amy Tarpley Wade (1988), Jeff Wade (1988), Jenna Wade (2022), Jacey Wade Powell (2017), Walker Powell (Jacey's husband), Judy Routh Tarpley (1966), Mark Tarpley (1993) and Randy Tarpley (1966). Not pictured: Dick Tarpley (1936), Frank D. Routh (1938) and Evelyn Moudy Routh (1938).  

The Tarpley family has been in the real estate business in Greenville since 1927, operating The Tarpley Agencies, Tarpley Realtors, the oldest real estate company in Hunt County.  

Amy taught kindergarten in GISD for 12 years and is now the district’s Director of Community Relations.
