DrugFree Greenville is proud to sponsor Tory Gant as the featured speaker at PARENT POWER, Tuesday, October 16, at 7:00 pm in the Greenville High School Auditorium.

We would like to extend to all GISD teachers, staff, and parents an invitation to attend this special event directed to adults.  Mr. Gant will be speaking to GISD students about “The Power of Choice” during the week of October 15 – 19.  Sixth grade center, GMS, GHS and New Horizons have assemblies scheduled at their respective campuses.  The elementary students will be travelling to the Municipal Auditorium for their assembly.  Mr. Gant’s presentation for PARENT POWER will draw from “The Power of Choice” and help parents learn to talk to their children about drugs.

Drawing from his own experiences from his troubled childhood, Tory’s presentations are unique, energetic and inspirational. His infectious smile and persistent message of hope help to make him a favored mentor and speaker with his youthful audiences.  He has been a keynote speaker at numerous conferences and school youth development groups across the nation.  Mr. Gant was in Greenville as recently as August to conduct leadership training for Greenville High School PAL (Peer Assistance and Leadership) students and northeast Texas PAL adult sponsors.
