Greenville ISD is proud to announce that Greenville High School senior Michael Adeluyi has been named a National Merit Finalist. This prestigious recognition is a testament to his outstanding academic achievements and dedication to excellence.

Michael attributes his academic success and this honor to his involvement in extracurricular activities, particularly robotics.

"My extracurricular activities have surrounded me with people that inspire me to better versions of myself. Robotics especially has been a major influence that has taught me to enjoy math and engineering, which contributed to the knowledge I needed to achieve this honor."

Throughout his academic journey, Michael has felt immense support from his school and community. "I’ve found nothing but encouragement from all my teachers and peers, and I'm really grateful for that. Their support has pushed me far."

Looking ahead, he plans to study computer science and pursue a career in software engineering.
