*The goal of our newcomer program is to help new to the country scholars develop linguistic survival skills and start adapting to the new culture. Establishing newcomer programs is a complex process. Leadership is an important component to clearly outline the vision and structure of the program.  

New Horizons High School has been honored to home all newcomers from all around the world within the district. NHHS assists newcomers to set goals in hopes of achieving certain criteria where they can transfer to Greenville High School to be part of the high school and gain all the traditional high school experience. Some students choose to stay at New Horizons because of its flexibility and individual attention from teachers.
