Donate a formal dress or suit to make prom possible for all students

Prom night is seen as a rite of passage for many, marking the end of a soon-to-be graduate’s high school career. With the costs of class rings, yearbooks, graduation announcements and many other expenses associated with senior year, an expensive prom dress or suit is one less item on the list thanks to the GHS Lions Lair Formal Wear Boutique. With just $20 to cover cleaning costs, students are able to reserve prom night formal attire after setting a fitting appointment during their second-period class.

To ensure as many students as possible are able to find the formal wear that fits them best, the prom closet is in need of donations of new or gently used prom dresses and suits. The formal attire may be dropped off at Greenville High School, 3515 Lions Lair Rd or at DrugFree Greenville, 4207 Wesley St.

If you would like to help make prom night magical (and affordable) for a student in need, please contact Mrs. Rollins in GHS room 1605 or call (903) 453-3724 for more information.
