Greenville ISD’s Partners Program is off and running with two partners using our online portal to fulfill campus needs!

Two of our first partners, One Church and The Salvation Army of Hunt County, have helped us kick off the VOLY exchange system by donating items through the portal.
When New Horizons High School turned to VOLY to request cases of water bottles for their scholars, One Church in Caddo Mills was excited to fulfill the need. They also used the VOLY communication and fulfillment features to notify Travis/Sixth Grade Center that they would be fulfilling their request for 80 boxes of tissues for students as allergy season is fast approaching.

Campus Pastor Jimmy Tsai with One Church says the VOLY platform makes it easy to maximize the church’s impact on the community.

“I love the VOLY portal because it’s a bridge between a need and a resource,” he said. His wife Nancy added that giving is one of the church’s core values and VOLY helps to facilitate the giving process. “We want to impact our community. No matter how big or small the need may be, we are happy to help where we can.”

Carver Elementary also had a need fulfilled after posting the request on VOLY. Teachers and staff received an assortment of snack items provided by Sheila CdeBaca with The Salvation Army of Hunt County.

“Through VOLY, we were blessed from the kindness of a community partner. We were able to feed our staff with some yummy snacks!” Carver Elementary Dean of Instruction Krystal Petty said. “Thank you, VOLY, for connecting us with The Salvation Army!”

If you love creating valuable partnerships to benefit GISD schools, we’d like to invite your organization to get started by registering in the VOLY Partner Portal. Simply visit greenvilleisd.voly.org and click on “Create an account”! Once approved, we will send you a “tip sheet” to help you get started!

The VOLY Partner Portal is an easy-to-use, web-based platform that allows districts and campus users to post needs and community partners to offer available resources. Two-way communication is made easy using this system. It also provides a number of reporting options, giving schools and partners more time to focus on growing the valuable connections that benefit GISD schools.
