Health2Care Event

On Wednesday evening, the GISD PRIDE Center was open for the first Health2Care event, where community members were invited to visit with representatives from several healthcare organizations.

In partnership with Parkland Community Health Plan and United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, Parent Involvement Facilitator Whitney Threatt organized the event to provide health-related resources, vaccinations, and healthcare screenings free of charge to Hunt County residents. Agencies such as Greenville Fire-Rescue, Hunt County Health Department Medical Services, and Raffa provided valuable materials and information to attendees, who were also treated with cool promo items such as sunglasses, stress balls, and snacks. Guests also enjoyed Lula’s Water Ice, who sold the unique frozen treat, native to Philadelphia.

Join us for the next family-friendly Health2Care event from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. November 2, at the Greenville ISD PRIDE Center (3923 Henry Street).
