Commissioner of Education Mike Morath announced recently that the Texas Education Agency (TEA) has established an online video library to house its new Answers in About a Minute video series.

Answers in About a Minute videos are among the available tools created by TEA to help parents and community members learn about the A-F system. The videos and other A-F resources are posted at          https://tea.texas.gov/A-F/. More videos will be available leading up to Aug. 15.

To view the complete Answers in About a Minute video library, visit the TEA website at https://tea.texas.gov/answers.

    District Annual Report:

The Texas Education Code (TEC), §39.306, requires each district’s board of trustees to publish an annual report that includes the TAPR, district accreditation status, campus performance objectives, information on violent or criminal incidents, and information on the performance of the previous year’s graduates in their first year of college, as reported by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB).

Each district’s board of trustees must hold a public hearing to discuss the district’s annual report within 90 days of receiving the final TAPR (winter break not included). Within two weeks following the public meeting, each district must widely publish its annual report, including posting it on the district website and other public places.

Greenville ISD held the public hearing on December 19, 2017.  Click here to view the most recent district annual report.
