Millie Edwards | Retired GISD Teacher | '74 Grad
Greenville High School 1974 graduate Millie Edwards is well known for giving back to the district she graduated from.
Mrs. Edwards, as she is known by the countless number of students who passed through her doorway, spent 24 years in the classroom educating GISD youth.
She is proud to have impacted so many lives inside the halls of GISD schools. Mrs. Edwards worked tirelessly to support all her students and prepare them with the necessary skills for them to succeed in the world after graduation. Mrs. Edwards retired after the 2021-22 school year.
Mrs. Edwards was inspired by her African American teachers and the connections fostered by the Ross, Washington and Carver Alumni Association.
